A DRIVER has been left with significant injuries after being punched in the face during a road rage attack.
Durham Police said the suspect got out of his vehicle and punched the victim several times on High Street, in Aycliffe Village, near Newton Aycliffe.
The suspect was driving a red Ford Transit style van when the assault on the A167 took place last Thursday, July 13, at about 4.15pm.
Believed to about 25 years old, he was described as a white man with tanned skin and a blonde beard.
Anybody with information or who witnessed the assault are requested to contact Durham Police on 101, quoting incident number 314 on July 13.
