POLICE investigating the murder of schoolteacher Julie Parkin are continuing to appeal for information.
On Tuesday, June 27, the 39-year-old was found with fatal injuries in a house in Kirkwall Close in Sunderland.
"As part of the investigation police would like to speak to anyone who saw a black 5 door Mazda 6 saloon car NL59 MWJ in or around Sunderland Marina between 10pm and midnight on Monday, June 26," said a spokeswoman for Northumbria Police.
"It's believed a man and woman in their 30's were with the vehicle and it’s possible they may have parked up in that area and taken a walk."

- A 35-year-old man has been charged with murder.
