TWO accidents on the A66 between Darlington and Stockton caused major delays for motorists on Monday morning.
The first collision involving five vehicles happened on the westbound carriageway at 7.40am near Long Newton.
Two vehicles were involved in a separate collision nearby shortly afterwards.
The road was closed for some time but reopened around 9am.
No one is believed to have been seriously injured.
