A RAFFLE will be held to raise money towards an annual town outing particularly aimed at its older residents.
Following successful fundraising by B&M Bargains for the last two years, the Market Street store will again run a raffle in aid of the Ferryhill Senior Citizens Trip.
The first prize is a food hamper and the second prize is three bottles of wine, tickets are £1 from the shop and the raffle will be drawn on Sunday, July 9.
Organisers of the trip have thanked staff at B&M Bargains for their continued support, members of the committee who donated items and Councillor Mel Brown for organising the raffle.
This year’s trip will be to Scarborough on Thursday, July 27.
- Coaches will meet in Ferryhill Market Place from 9.30am and will leave at 10am, coaches leave Scarborough at 5pm.
- The cost for the trip is £4 for senior citizens, £6 for adults and £3 for children under 14.
