TEN years of creativity will be celebrated with an exhibition next month.

Arts collective blimey! will hold a two day exhibition to mark their tenth anniversary on Saturday, July 8 and Sunday, July 9.

The installation – blimey X – will feature more than 200 examples of postcard sized artwork submitted by over 100 artists.

The exhibition will showcase contributions from artists across the world, with submissions from Darlington to be displayed alongside those from Manchester, Sheffield, Newcastle and Switzerland.

Ten of the artworks have been selected to be reproduced and printed as commemorative postcards, available free to exhibition visitors.

Following a public vote and a selection by the collective, two of the works will also receive a prize of £500 each.

The free exhibition will be open at the Cornmill Centre in Darlington between 10am and 4pm.
