BALDRICK: Drama students have cunning plan to recreate TV hit Blackadder The Third
A STUDENT production of a classic British comedy is to be staged next week.
Durham University students are producing a three-night run of the TV series Blackadder The Third at the city’s Assembly Rooms Theatre.
The show, staged by Durham Student Theatre’s Ooook! Productions, opens on Wednesday, June 21 and runs until Friday, June 23 with performances at 7.30pm each night.
The 10-strong cast will be directed by Anna Haines.
Tickets, priced £7.50 or £6.50 for students, are available from the Durham Student Theatre website and on the door.
The group, which stages a number of shows each year, has raised more than £20,000 for charity and is giving all the profits to Comic Relief.
