The English Youth Ballet (EYB) will be putting on the Ballet Stars of the Future show at Sunderland Empire on June 16 and 17.
A GROUP of talented young dancers are set to take to the stage for a professional production of Swan Lake.
The English Youth Ballet (EYB) will be putting on the Ballet Stars of the Future show at Sunderland Empire on June 16 and 17.
And 13-year-old Emily Ogilvie-Donald, from Hurworth, said: “I started dancing when I was three because my older sister did it and I was always there with her. It’s a new experience to be dancing with English Youth Ballet. I am excited about meeting new friends and learning the new dances.”
The other local dancers taking part are Alyssa Peterson, Maisie Penteney, Lucy Brierley and Matilda McClelland, Elena Porter.
