A MAN has been stabbed in the stomach in an incident in Middlesbrough this morning, Wednesday.
Police were called to Clairville Road just after 7am after receiving a report of an altercation.
A man in his late thirties was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm in connection with the incident.
He has also been taken to hospital suffering from a facial injury.
A cordon was put in place while officers carried out investigations but it has now been removed and the road reopened.
