DELAYS are expected on a busy North-East road today due to a major water leak.
The leak occurred at the traffic lights at Neville's Cross at the A167 Darlington Road and the A690 yesterday.
Durham County Council have urged motorists to avoid the area if possible.
A spokesperson for Northumbrian Water said they have a crew at the site and are dealing with the problem.
