NINETEEN victims of Monday's nights terror attack in Manchester have now been named.

The attack at a concert by US pop star Ariana Grande left 22 people dead, including an eight-year-old girl, and dozens injured.

Chloe Rutherford, 17 and Liam Curry, 19

The Northern Echo:

Chloe Rutherford, 17 and Liam Curry, 19, both from South Shields were among the victims.

The families of both teenagers made the following tribute to the 'inseparable' couple:

"On the night our daughter Chloe died and our son Liam died their wings were ready but our hearts were not.

"They were perfect in every way for each other and were meant to be.

"They were beautiful inside and out to ourselves and our families, and they were inseperable.

"Chloe always described herself as ditzy who Liam adored and would do anything for, including dealing with Chloe's demands for chocolate.

"They lived to go to new places together and explore different cities. They wanted to be together forever and now they are."

Eilidh MacLeod, 14

The parents of Manchester bombing victim of Eilidh MacLeod, 14, from Barra in the Outer Hebrides, was at the concert with a friend.

Her family said in a statement: "Words cannot express how we feel at losing our darling Eilidh."

"Eilidh was vivacious and full of fun. She loved all music whether it was listening to Ariana or playing the bagpipes with her pipe band.

"As a family we would like to express our thanks and gratitude for the support and kind messages we have received at this difficult time."

Eilidh's friend, Laura MacIntyre, is said to be in a "serious condition" in a Manchester hospital.

Nell Jones, 14

Tributes have been paid to a "bright and popular" schoolgirl killed in the Manchester Arena bombing.

Nell Jones, 14, died at the scene of the blast on Monday evening, the student's school in Cheshire said.

Denis Oliver, headteacher at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive and Sixth Form said: "We are all devastated by the loss and as a school community we must now come to terms with what has happened.

"Nell was a very bright and popular student."

Mr Oliver said Nell's family has been left "devastated" by her death.

The year nine pupil's form tutor David Wheeler said: "Nell was a very popular girl, always smiling, always positive.

"Her tutor group have been together since the transition from primary school.

"It feels like they have lost a sister not a classmate."

Martyn Hett, 29

The Northern Echo:

The family of Martyn Hett have paid tribute to the Manchester attack victim, describing him as an "icon of all our lives".

The 29-year-old PR manager from Stockport was days away from setting off on a trip to the US when he was killed in the suicide bomb attack on Manchester Arena.

In a statement issued by Greater Manchester Police, his devastated family said he "just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time".

The statement added: "Words cannot describe the generosity and kindness our families have received over the last few days.

"We are overwhelmed with the amount of lives he has touched and the kind words that are being said about him.

"Martyn was the icon of all our lives. His infectious laugh and his niche sense of humour will stay with us forever.

"He lived for every moment of every day and fitted an entire lifetime of memories into his 29 years.

"Whilst they have taken the life out of Martyn, no one can, and ever will, take Martyn out of our lives."

Off-duty Cheshire police officer

An off-duty female police officer was among the victims of the Manchester Arena bomb attack.

The officer, who served with Cheshire Police, was reportedly with her husband and two children.

The force said in a statement: "Cheshire Police is now in a position to confirm that sadly one of our female officers tragically died while off-duty at the Manchester Arena on Monday 22 May.

"Unfortunately, we are not able to release any further details at this stage."

The BBC reported that the victim's husband was critically injured in the blast and their two children were also hurt.

Michelle Kiss

Mother-of-three Michelle Kiss was taken away in the "most traumatic way imaginable", her family said as they vowed to "draw from the courage and strength she showed in her life".

Ms Kiss, from Lancashire, was among the 22 people killed on Monday when a suicide bomber detonated a homemade device that tore through the foyer of Manchester Arena as people left following a pop concert.

In a statement issued through Greater Manchester Police, her family said: "Michelle Kiss was a loving wife to Tony, mother to Dylan, Elliot and Millie, as well as daughter to Mick and Christine and sister to Nichola.

"She tragically died during the horrible event that occurred on Monday night.

"Family was her life and we are all obviously devastated by her loss.

"She has been taken away from us, and all that love her, in the most traumatic way imaginable.

"We hope to draw from the courage and strength she showed in her life to get through this extremely difficult time."

Sorrell Leczkowski, 14

A 14-year-old girl who died in the Manchester bombing that also left her mother and grandmother in hospital dreamed of being an architect, her heartbroken grandfather has said.

Michael Healey said granddaughter Sorrell Leczkowski, from Adel, Leeds, was "our rock" as he paid tribute to the "clever, talented, creative girl".

In a statement issued through Greater Manchester Police, he said his wife Pauline remains in intensive care and Sorrell's mother Samantha is recovering from surgery "as she tries to make sense of the devastating loss of her daughter".

Jane Tweddle, 51

Receptionist and mother-of-three Jane Tweddle, who was killed in the Manchester blast, was "a truly wonderful friend and colleague", according to a statement from the principal of the school where she worked.

Ms Tweddle, 51, of Blackpool, was at the arena waiting for a friend's daughter when the blast happened, according to her friend Mark Taylor.

He told BBC Radio Lancashire that Ms Tweddle was "obviously a lovely lady and a very good mother to three daughters".

Jane Bailey, principal of South Shore Academy in Blackpool, said: "We are devastated at this sad news. Jane was a well-loved member of staff and our thoughts are with her friends and family at this terrible time.

"Jane was a truly wonderful friend and colleague to all of us at South Shore Academy.

"As our receptionist, she was, in many ways, the public face of the school and she represented us amazingly in this role.

"We have received numerous messages of condolences from parents, students, community members and colleagues across Blackpool for which we are very grateful. All of them say the same things about our lovely Jane... bubbly, kind, welcoming, funny, generous... the list goes on.

"Our thoughts are also with her family at this dreadful time and in particular her three daughters. In our school family and theirs... she is irreplaceable, much loved and will never be forgotten."

Gordon Marsden, the Labour candidate for Blackpool South, wrote of the death of three local victims, including Ms Tweddle.

He wrote: "It brings home the wicked and senseless waste of human life. My thoughts are with their family, friends and colleagues."

Georgina Callander, 18

The Northern Echo:

Runshaw College in Leyland, Lancashire, spoke of its "enormous sadness" after hearing that Georgina Callender died as a result of the blast at the Ariana Grande concert.

A spokesman said in a statement the young girl was on the second year of her health and social care course, and was a former student at Bishop Rawstorne Church of England Academy.

"Our deepest sympathies, thoughts and prayers go out to all of Georgina's family, friends, and all of those affected by this loss," the college said.

"We are offering all available support possible at this tragic time, including counselling with our dedicated student support team."

Bishop Rawstorne Church of England Academy confirmed that Georgina died as a result of the injuries she sustained.

In a statement the school said: "Georgina was a lovely young student who was very popular with her peers and the staff and always made the most of the opportunities she had at the school.

"Our thoughts and prayers go out to Georgina's family at this terrible time, and we think especially of her brothers Harry and Daniel who were also former students of the school.

"All of our students will gather together today for a time of prayer and reflection and to give thanks for the life of Georgina."

Saffie Rose Roussos, 8

The second victim to be named was eight-year-old Saffie Rose Roussos, from Leyland, Lancashire.

Saffie, described as a "beautiful little girl", was at the concert with her mother Lisa and Saffie's sister, Ashlee Bromwich, who is in her 20s.

In a statement released through Lancashire County Council, Tarleton Community Primary School headteacher Chris Upton said: "News of Saffie's death in this appalling attack has come as a tremendous shock to all of us and I would like to send our deepest condolences to all of her family and friends.

"The thought that anyone could go out to a concert and not come home is heartbreaking."

John Atkinson, 28

John Atkinson, 28, from Bury, has been described as an 'amazing young man' by friends and family.

He was killed in Monday night's terror attack as he was leaving the Ariana Grande concert.

A fundraising page set up by friends of Mr Atkinson to support his family has raised over £4,000 so far.

It says: "John was one one in a million and loved by so many!

"A true gentleman. R.I.P John thoughts and prayers with you family and all of the other victims effected by this tragedy."

Megan Hurley, 15

Merseyside teenager, Megan Hurley, was the fourth person to be named as a victim of Monday's terror attack.

A fundraising page set up by Helen McDermott from Halewood, says: "We’re raising £500 to help fund a beautiful send off for Megan who was taken far too early due to the awful attacks at Manchester Arena on 22/05/2017.

"Let’s help Megan Hurley’s family as much as possible guys this is an awful time for the whole country but we can do our bit for our own!!!"

Kelly Brewster, 32

Kelly Brewster, whose body reportedly shielded her niece from the blast leaves behind a young daughter, Phoebe. 

The 32-year-old had been reported missing after the attack but her partner, Ian Winslow, later said this on Facebook: "Not sure how this works but it isn't good news. Kelly Brewster wasn't one of the unidentified hospital patients. She has sadly passed away in the terror attack yesterday.

"Kelly really was the happiest she has ever been and we had so many things planned together. My daughter Phoebe will be absolutely devastated like we all are."

Alison Howe and Lisa Lees

Two mums who were at the concert to pick up their daughters were killed.

Alison Howe, 45, and Lisa Lees, 47, from Royton, Oldham, were in the foyer when the attacker struck.

Their daughters are believed to be safe.

Olivia Campbell, 15

The Northern Echo:

Olivia Campbell was named as among the victim's of Monday's terror attack hours after her parents had made a TV appeal for their missing daughter.

Confirming her daughter's death, Charlotte Campbell paid tribute on Facebook: "RIP my darling precious gorgeous girl Olivia Campbell taken far far to soon. Go sing with the angels and keep smiling mummy loves you so much."

Angelika and Marcin Klis

The Northern Echo:

Polish couple, Angelika and Marcin Klis, who had gone to Manchester Arena to collect their daughters are among those killed.

Foreign Minister Witold Waszczykowski told a Polish radio station: "The parents came after the concert to collect their daughters and unfortunately we have information that they are dead. The children are safe."

A spokesman for the country's foreign ministry said "at least two people have died and one person has been injured" but could not confirm any further details.

Yesterday York College student Alex Klis said she was looking for her parents Angelika and Marcin, who had been missing since the attack.

In a post shared widely on Facebook she wrote: "Anyone who is in any safe place or hospital in Manchester, if anyone comes across my parents please please let me know as they've been missing ever since the attack."

Marcin Klis is believed to have worked for York Cars Taxis.

Courtney Boyle and Philip Tron

RELATIVES of Courtney Boyle and Philip Tron have paid tribute as they become the latest victims of the Manchester Arena Attack to be confirmed.

Courtney, 19, and Mr Tron, her mum's partner, who was 32, who were at the Ariana Grande concert died when a suicide bomber struck.

Both were from Gateshead.

Courtney's mum, Deborah Hutchinson, said: "My stunning amazing beautiful daughter. You were my rock, you made me so proud with all you had achieved and my gorgeous crazy Philip, you made my world a happy place and now you are both my angels flying high in the sky."
