THE success of three North Yorkshire youth clubs has prompted a housing association to extend funding for them for a further year.
Dozens of children now regularly attend the Broadacres-funded youth clubs in Northallerton, Thirsk and Stokesley.
It comes after the association entered into an agreement with The Clock - an independent charitable organisation which delivers services to young people and adults across North Yorkshire - to coordinate the clubs.
Broadacres used a recent open day at The Clock in Thirsk to announce it was extending funding for the clubs until at least 2018.
Broadacres chair Colin Wilkie said: “I was very impressed by what I saw and it was good to speak to the young people who make it such a success.”
