WELCOME: Patrick Brompton Parish Council has welcomed the arrival of a new village sign
WE, as residents of Patrick Brompton, were thrilled to see our photograph of our new entry sign published (D&S Times, Apr 28).
We were, however, dismayed that you omitted to mention that the Patrick Brompton Community Events Committee (PBCEC) worked in joint venture with the parish council to make the event happen.
The events committee has instigated a great variety of projects and worked hard for the good of the village, sometimes hand in hand with the parish council to make things happen.
In this case we felt quite disappointed that you left us out since we had done most of the hard work!
