FAMILY historians will be offered help in how to trace their civilian ancestors during the Second World War.
Experts from Durham County Record Office will offer tips and advice on the subject at their monthly talk at County Hall, in Durham.
The same talk will take place twice next week: once on Tuesday, May 23 at 6pm and again on Thursday, May 25 at 10am.
The session is part of the Branching Out programme run by the Record Office.
It is followed by a session on Electoral Registers and Trade Directories, held on June 13 at 6pm and June 15 at 10am.
Sessions are aimed at people who have already begun tracing their family tree or who have attended one of the Record Office’s beginners’ courses and cost £10.
