THREE of the UK’s best tribute acts will perform in front of thousands of fans when an annual music festival returns this summer.
Chester-le-Street Fake Festival will be staged at Riverside Park on Saturday, August 5 starting at 12.30pm.
The festival will feature tribute acts performing music by Queen, The Killers and The Stone Roses, alongside five local support acts.
Organiser Jez Lee said: “Last year’s 10th anniversary celebrations were a real highlight to mark the growth of the festivals over the past decade and the Chester-le-Street weekend was so warmly welcomed by the community.
“The 2017 event will see world-class tributes to Queen, the Killers and the Stone Roses hit the stage inside the famous Fake Festivals marquee, along with five lucky talented local support bands.
“Plus there will be the main bar inside the marquee as usual and a variety of food and entertainment stalls in the outside arena.”
Early bird tickets, priced £17 for adults, £9 for young people and free for accompanied under 10s, are on sale until July 5 from fakefestivals.co.uk.
