MEMBERS of a North Yorkshire craft club which meets once a month are preparing an exhibition of their work to coincide with a forthcoming anniversary service.
Tapestry, quilting, fabric collage, watercolour painting, knitting and crochet are just some of the skills which the Bainbridge Methodists craft club share with each other and those who join the group, short- or long-term.
People are encouraged to bring their own work-in-progress, or start from scratch with guidance from more experienced craftworkers.
The 181st anniversary of the chapel, whose future is under scrutiny because of falling numbers, is on Sunday, May 14, at 3pm. The service will will be led by Andrew Fagg and the exhibition will be downstairs.
The group meets at 7pm on the last Tuesday in the month in the schoolroom beneath the chapel.
