OZZY Osbourne, Bon-Jovi and Slade are just some of the acts lined up for a popular music festival next week – well kind of.

CrookFest returns to the County Durham market town on Sunday and music fans can look forward to energetic sets by top cover and tribute bands.

The one-day festival features three stages situated inside the Main Marquee, Scooter Tent and Hut Bar, with 20 acts performing everything from soft and heavy rock songs, to ska, punk, blues and rockabilly.

Among the acts confirmed are Ozzy Ozbourne The Ultimate Sin, Bon Jovi Forever, Slade UK, The Extra Specials and Skapones.

Other highlights include JD and the Woodsmen, Share the Darkness, On the Rocks and A Taste of Rory Gallagher.

The fun begins at Crook Town Amateur Football Club’s ground in West Road, Crook, at noon and continues until 11.30pm.

No alcohol is allowed to be brought into the ground but there will be two bars and a selection of hot and cold food stalls on site selling refreshments.

Tickets cost £15 for adults, with entry free for children under 12. Children must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 21, with a maximum of two children per adult.
