THE Easter Bunny has arrived in Durham in time for the festive period.
Egg hunts and Easter themed events are taking place in the city throughout the weekend.
Among the events are an Easter egg trail at Low Burnhall Woods, near Durham, which takes place tomorrow (Friday), a treasure hunt at Crook Hall and Gardens on Sunday and Monday and family activities at Adventure Valley, in Brasside.
The family attraction is hosting an "Easter Egg-stravaganza" until Sunday, April 23, with children able to take part in a hunt, meet the Easter bunny, feed baby animals and take part in a bunny trail.
Durham Botanic Garden is hosting a chick hunt on Monday, between 10am and 4pm.
A mobile animal farm and egg hunt, as well as other activities, crafts and entertainment is being held at Wharton Park on Saturday and Sunday, between 11am and 5pm.
