A MAN suffered head injuries when a car crashed into the back of a lorry in Darlington.
The 31-year-old man was taken to hospital with head injuries after the Vauxhall Insignia collided with the HGV on the Faverdale Industrial Estate, in Darlington, at 6.50am.
The Durham Road Police Unit tweeted: “Be careful of the weather conditions out there folks; early morning sun this time of year hinders visibility.”
The passenger was taken to the James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough. His condition is not believed to be life-threatening.
The County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service was in attendance.
