SAVE a life by surrendering your knife, is the message from Cleveland Police.
Last year, swords, machetes, meat cleavers, hunting knives and other sharp objects were handed in to the force as part of a nationwide knife amnesty.
More than a hundred items were surrendered to Cleveland Police as part of the amnesty, which is taking place again from Tuesday, May 2 until Monday, May 8.
Officers are urging people to hand over sharp objects as part of their bid to tackle knife crime.
For more information about the amnesty, call Cleveland Police on non-emergency number 101.
