A CONTINENTAL market is coming to Durham over the Easter bank holiday weekend.
Featuring Spanish saucisson, French cheeses, Moroccan treats and spice kits from Bangladesh, the market will take place in Durham Market Place from Friday, April 14 to Monday, April 17.
Durham’s regular outdoor market will run alongside its continental neighbours on Friday, Saturday and Monday and the Market Hall will be open each day except Sunday.
Colin Wilkes, managing director of Durham Markets, said: “We’re thrilled to have a ‘super markets’ weekend in the centre of Durham for the Easter weekend.
“It’s the perfect opportunity to shop with your favourite local independent traders, and also discover something new.”
