AN ESTATE agency in Darlington is helping people living on the town’s streets by finding accommodation for those in desperate need of support.

Hinc Estate Agents, based in Clarks Yard, have stepped in to help Darlington’s homeless or those at risk of losing shelter as part of a housing scheme operated by the agency, charity groups and Darlington Borough Council.

Josh Pinder, Hinc Estate Agents head of agency, said: “There are more than 250,000 homeless people in the UK alone and people deserve a second chance.

“That’s why we are proud to work with local charities to house the homeless and people from all walks of life.”

Owen Trebell was recently handed the keys to his own accommodation off High Northgate after facing homelessness.

Mr Trebell said: “I’m grateful to Hinc Estates for giving me a second chance in life when others turned me away.”
