MORE than 200 people accepted an invitation from farmer owned arable business GrainCo to visit its Piercebridge site, near Darlington last month.
Tea and coffee and fish and chips were provided to guests.
The site was purchased by GrainCo in August 2016, together with the core experienced staff for the grain store and the seed plant.
As well as the GrainCo staff, visitors were able to have a chat with several suppliers whose representatives were on hand to assist with technical queries. A moisture meter clinic was also organised.
