A POPULAR lambing watch event is returning to an agricultural college.
East Durham College's Houghall campus, on the outskirts of Durham city, is inviting the public to the event on Sunday.
People will have a chance to meet the new arrivals at the college, as well as have a look around the new small animal care centre, which houses reptiles, fish and small mammals.

Visitors can also see the college’s cows and calves and pigs and piglets, visit the brand new equine centre and stables and see the plant centre.
Houghall Farm manager Keith Cook said: “This event is a great opportunity for us to show the public what we do here at Houghall to help meet the future employment needs of the agriculture industry, whilst they have a fun family day out too.
“We can’t guarantee a live birth on the day, but there will certainly be loads of new born lambs for visitors to see.
“With all the other activities planned it looks set to be a great day out for all the family.”
It takes place between 11am and 3pm. Entry is £1.50 for adults and £1 for children.
