FILM fans can enjoy a blockbuster movie in the great outdoors this Easter.

JK Rowling’s Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will be screened at a pop-up cinema in North Yorkshire’s Dalby Forest on Saturday April, 15.

And organisers have now introduced no frills camping in an area next to the pop-up cinema arena.

Pop-up Cinema Yorkshire is part of Scarborough-based company C3 Events Ltd.

Their cinema screen has been ‘popping-up’ around Yorkshire for the last three years, including sell-out screenings of Withnail & I, Star Wars – The Force Awakens and the Dirty Dancing.

Director of C3 Events, Mike Lynskey, said: “This is our second year showing movies in Dalby Forest and we’ll also be visiting other forestry commission sites around the country in 2017.

“‘Fantastic Beasts’ is a fantastic family film, and with the bonus of being able to camp in the forest and make a night of it, who could resist?

“So pack your picnic and pyjamas and join us for an incredible cinematic forest adventure.

As well as the giant cinema, there will also be a range of themed food and drink stalls with a licenced bar.

A limited number of tickets are available online at www.popupcinema.org from £13.50 for adults and £9.50 for children and organisers recommend early booking.
