A BOOMERANG bought on a 'holiday of a lifetime' was among items stolen by thieves.
Sometime between 4.10pm and 5.15pm on Thursday, thieves broke into a house on Fern Street in Middlesbrough taking a 32ins Toshiba television and the dark wooden boomerang, painted with blue and yellow dots.
The boomerang which was bought during a ‘holiday of a lifetime’ trip to Australia is said to be of great sentimental value. It was bought as part of a set to remember the holiday.
Detective Sergeant Louise Sproson, of Cleveland Police, said: "As part of the investigation I would like to speak to anyone who may have seen something.
"It was during daylight hours and many people would have been in the area at the time.”
- Anyone with information is asked to contact DS Louise Sproson on 101.
