A FREE event to help residents find out if they are claiming everything they are entitled to is to take place.
East Durham Homes will hold a financial wellbeing event on Monday, focussing on the cost of furniture.
Between 9am and 5pm at the East Durham Partnership building in Horden, residents can concerns about changes to benefits, browse a large selection of furniture available to buy and talk to energy savings advisers and representatives from NEFirst Credit Union.
Heather Wake, from East Durham Homes, said: “We urge people with any queries, no matter how big or small, to come along.
“One simple conversation could have a real impact on day-to-day expenditure”.
