A MIDDLESBROUGH man is facing a trial after denying sexual assault.
Mohammed Mahbubur Rahman appeared at Teesside Crown Court this morning.
The 35-year-old, of Cumberland Road, pleaded not guilty to a sexual assault alleged to have happened at around 3am on December 8, 2016.
Assisted by a Bangladeshi translator, the smartly dressed man was told he must face trial for the offence, said to have happened on Docklands Road near Grangetown, Middlesbrough.
He will be tried later this year.
