THE world's largest theatrical producer is staging a series of acrobatic shows described as a "tribute to the nomadic soul" at a North-East venue.
Canadian entertainment company Cirque Du Soleil will perform Varekai, which will feature live music and circus styles from around the world, at the Metro Radio Arena until Sunday.
To promote the show, which has a forested volanco as a backdrop, acrobats Rodrigue Proteau, Emily McCarthy and Sam Sturt have performed stunts at the Angel of the North, in Gateshead.
