YOUNG people in a North East town are being invited to take part in free cycling lessons during half-term.

Middlesbrough Environment City’s Active Travel Team are running learn to ride sessions from Wednesday, February 22 to Friday, February 24 for children who attend primary schools in the town.

The sessions will be delivered on a one-to-one basis by nationally qualified cycle instructors who will tailor the training to the individual.

Bikes and helmets can be provided or children can use your own equipment.

The lessons will be held in Albert Park but booking is essential as sessions are limited.
