FUNDRAISERS are raising money to help the family of a teenager move house, away from the scene of his death.

A Go Fund Me page has been set up in memory of Arin Lyth, a 13-year-old teenager from Billingham, Teesside, whose body was found in the early hours of Thursday morning in the High Grange area of the town.

His death is not being treated as suspicious.

Arin had recently moved schools as it is understood he had been the victim of bullying, and many social media users have been changing their profile pictures to an anti-bullying message in the wake of his death.

YouTube videos have also been created by fellow pupils to try to raise awareness about bullying, in the light of Arin’s tragic death.

The Go Fund Me page has been set up to raise awareness and also help Arin’s mother and two brothers to move home, as it is only metres away from the scene of his death.

Marc Yafano, who set up the page, said: “I am sure in the coming weeks and months an accurate account will be published as to why things happened as they did but in the mean time I have set this page up for a number of reasons.

“Arin’s mother obviously cannot work during this dreadful time and being a single parent this is their only source of income.

“I know we live in a community where money is tight but I am asking if you can donate anything this would take a financial worry of a mother and family who are already in a world of pain.

“Also donations will be used to help move the family from the current address.”

Arin was understood to be a former pupil of Northfield School in Billingham, and had recently moved from there.

He is the third boy connected to Northfield to have died in the past year.

Harry Gray, who was a pupil there, died last April after taking his own life.

Just days after Harry’s tragic death, former Northfield pupil Elton Harland, 13, from Billingham, was found dead at a house in Lancashire.
