TICKETS are on sale for County Durham’s biggest annual festive racing fixture on Boxing Day.
Sedgefield Racecourse is expecting more than 4,000 people to descend on for a day of seven live races.
More than 1,500 advance tickets have already been sold.
Jill Williamson, executive director, said: “We have put every effort into ensuring that this year’s Boxing Day event will be the best yet and I would like to take the opportunity to thank all of our customers for their continued support this year.”
An hospitality offering is available in the viewing village marquee with good track viewing and a buffet.
The gates will open at 10.30am and the first race will kick off at midday.
