POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a crash involving four vehicles on Kirkleatham Lane in Redcar.
It happened at around 1pm on Friday, December 2 and involved a bronze BMW 320, a red BMW 330D, a white Citroen C3 and a black Nissan Qashqai.
Officers would ask any witnesses that may have seen a red BMW and a bronze BMW travelling along the Trunk Road, Middlesbrough, from Cargo Fleet Lane, passing Cleveland Retail Park and onto the Trunk Road heading towards Kirkleatham Lane to contact them.
The 25-year-old male driver of the red BMW and the 43-year-old driver of the bronze BMW were both arrested in connection with the incident.
The male driver and two passengers, including a seven-year-old boy, from the Citroen C3 and the female driver of the Nissan Qashqai were taken to James Cook University Hospital with minor injuries.
