CREATIVE pupils have designed a town council’s Christmas card in preparation for the festive season.
Dozens of youngsters from Chilton Primary school took part in the annual competition organised by Chilton Town Council to design a card to be used this year.
A total of 13 classes entered the competition and a finalist from each class was picked by Chilton Town Mayor, Cllr Elizabeth Bruce. Each of them won an Argos voucher.
A spokesperson from the council said: “The standard of entries was extremely high which proved hard when selecting winners.
“After much deliberating the overall winner was Holly Thistlethwaite. We would like to thank Holly and all of the children who participated along with those who assisted with this years competition.”
