HARTLEPOOL RNLI volunteer crew members pulled a man from the sea near to the Tees and Hartlepool Yacht Club around 2.20pm on Monday.
The UK Coastguard requested the launch of Hartlepool RNLI’s Atlantic 85 inshore lifeboat after it was reported that a man in his 70s was in difficulties in the water.
Hartlepool Coastguard Rescue Team were already on scene and had a team member in the water to get the man ashore.
