DETECTIVES are once again asking for information after robbers threatened a 51-year-old man with scissors by an ice-cream van.
The attempted robbery took place on Kirkland Walk in Middlesbrough at 7.55pm on Monday, October 10 when the victim was approached by three males by an ice cream van.
One threatened the victim with a pair of scissors and demanded money from him before they fled the scene empty handed towards Frampton Green.
The first man was about 20 and the other two were both younger and were both wearing grey hoodies zipped up to their chins. The victim was not hurt.
A 17-year-old male was arrested in connection with the incident and was released without charge.
