ONE of the region’s best-loved comic writers will reminisce about his life as a schools inspector at a theatre show.
An evening with Gervase Phinn, which has received rave reviews across the country, will entertaining audiences at the Gala Theatre in Durham on Thursday, November 3.
The storyteller will deliver heart-warming and hilarious memoirs from his time working in the Yorkshire Dales.
The author, poet and lecturer features regularly on Radio 4 and a TV guest, but remains best known for his best-selling series of five Dales books for Penguin.
For the last ten years, he has performed stand-up routines centred on his unique and comprehensive knowledge of life in and around education
