A 39-YEAR-OLD cyclist suffered a broken collar bone after a hit-and-run collision with a car.
It happened on Mattison Avenue in Middlesbrough on Thursday, September 22 between 3.30pm and 5.30pm and police are trying to trace the driver of the light-coloured car, who did not stop.
Officers also wish to speak to a man who was wearing dark clothing approached the cyclist and offered to help. Police would like to speak with this man as he may be able to assist with their enquiries. The cyclist was treated at James Cook University Hospital in the town.
