A TRACTOR and trailer were involved in an accident with two other vehicles in Darlington on Monday.
Whinfield Road was closed in both directions after the incident between the B6279 Stockton Road and Barmpton Lane and Thompson Street East at 8.15am.
Diversions were put in place while the vehicles, including a tractor towing a trailer, were removed from the site opposite Whinfield Road's junction with Welbeck Avenue.
There were no reported injuries from the incident and a Durham Police spokeswoman confirmed that the road was fully re-opened at 8.45am.
A Durham Police spokeswoman said: "We were called at 8.15am to a three-vehicle road traffic collision.
"We closed Whinfield Road at the roundabout with Stockton Road before it was re-opened half an hour later."
