AUTHOR: FOrmer MP Chris Mullin
AUTHOR and former Labour MP Chris Mullin is to give a lecture to coincide with the publication of his memoirs.
The ex-minister will speak at the Murray Library Lecture Theatre at Sunderland University on Tuesday, November 8 at 6.30pm.
The talk follows the publication of his book Hinterland, an account of his life in journalism and politics, including his investigation into the Birmingham pub bombings.
Since retiring from Parliament in 2010, he has served as the regional chairman of the Heritage Lottery.
Tickets for the talk are free, but must be booked in advance from onlinestore.sunderland.ac.uk.
