A PUBLIC consultation is underway over plans to relocate a town’s Post Office.
The Post Office is proposing to move its Wolsingham branch into the Spar shop in the Market Place, 30 metres from its present location.
There will be extended opening hours at the new open-plan branch, which will be open from 8am to 9pm seven days a week. This equates to an additional 53 hours and 30 minutes of Post Office service every week.
A six-week consultation will run until Wednesday, November 9, and all feedback will be considered before a final decision is made.
