THE skyline above one of the region’s great stately home is set to explode in a spectacular display of sci-fi themed fireworks.

Kaboom will be returning to Castle Howard in North Yorkshire on October 29 with a choreographed display that is promised to be “out of this world.”

The display will combine state-of-the-art pyrotechnics synchronized to a specially-commissioned music track and a screening of Star Wars: The Force Awakens to close the show.

Claimed to be one of the UK’s top ten firework displays, Kaboom at Castle Howard will celebrate the season, combining the best of Halloween and Bonfire Night.

And for younger children there will be a film screening of the Disney Pixar classic Monsters Inc ahead of the main firework display, as well as a traditional funfair, a Sparkler Park, live entertainment, fire jugglers, carnival performers, and the chance to tuck into traditional seasonal goodies.

Tickets are £15 for adults and £10 for children aged five to 15. Under fours get in free. Family tickets are £35 for two adults and two children.

They must be purchased in advance via kaboomyork.com or www.castlehoward.co.uk or at Visit York Information Centre, Museum Street, York.
