FLU vaccinations are being offered to Darlington’s eligible residents who are at higher risk of contracting the virus this winter.
Anyone aged over 65, pregnant women or adults and children with underlying health problems or weakened immune systems, can receive a jab for free via the NHS.
Kamila Wojna, pharmacy manager at Denmark Street Pharmacy, said: “There are benefits to getting your vaccination at a pharmacy.
“We also offer private flu vaccinations for anyone who isn’t eligible but wants to protect themselves from the flu this year, just ask a member of our team if you’re unsure about your eligibility.
“We’re looking forward to vaccinating our local community and together helping to keep the effects of flu to a minimum.”
