A YOUNG boy has been robbed of his bicycle in Middlesbrough.

The 11-year-old was cycling with a friend on Marton Road on Wednesday, September 14, at around 6:55pm.

He was approached by two men on bikes, one of whom stopped the boy and threatened him to hand over his bike.

The boy handed over his green and white Carrera Blast pedal bike and the suspect made off in the direction of James Cook Railway Station.

One of the male suspects is described as between 17-20 years-old, of slim build with short fair hair, clean shaven and between 5ft 6ins tall and 5ft 9ins tall. He was wearing a blue tracksuit top.

The second male is described as being the same age with curly brown hair, clean shaven and of slim build. He was wearing a blue/grey Adidas tracksuit.

The incident occurred as the boy was cycling with his friend.
