PEOPLE are being asked to come forward with any information they may have in connection with a knife-point robbery.

Police are investigating the incident, which took place on Walkers Passage in Harrogate between Park View and Park Parade.

At about 9.30pm on Sunday, August 21, a man had been walking from near the Stray towards the town centre, when he was approached by a man on a bicycle who skidded to a stop. He blocked the victim’s path and threatened him with a knife.

He was wearing dark trousers and a light-coloured top and was riding a mountain bike with a light-coloured, possibly yellow frame.

The knife was described as a seven to eight inch black-handled kitchen knife.

It is not known what was stolen during the robbery.
