CANADIAN rock legend Bryan Adams played Durham County Cricket Club’s Emirates Riverside tonight as part of his Get Up tour to promote his album of the same name.

He opened the set with 'Do What Ya Gotta Do' then went on to play other songs from his new album, including 'You Belong To Me' and 'We Did It All'.

He mixed the new with the old playing hits from his classic back catalogue such as 'Run to You', 'Heaven' and the classic 80s hit 'Summer of 69'.

Having played at other venues around the UK including the Scarborough Open Air Theatre and Sandown Park in Esher he has also toured in America, Canada, Australia and Europe this year.

Adams led a passionate and electric performance for the crowd who were up on their feet dancing throughout. His performance on stage was supported by guitarist Keith Scott, bass player Richard Jones from The Feeling and drummer Mickey Curry.

As one of the most highly-acclaimed musicians he has sold more than 65 million albums worldwide including ‘Get Up’, which consists of both electric and acoustic performances. It was released in October 2015 and received positive reviews.
