TWO carriageways of the A1(M) in North Yorkshire were blocked on Thursday afternoon following a collision between two vehicles.
The accident was reported to police at about 12.30pm near Boroughbridge at junction 48.
The collision involved two cars on the northbound carriageway, where two of three lanes were closed.
A driver of one of the cars involved in the collision has been taken to Harrogate District Hospital with injuries which police say are not believed to be life-threatening.
Both lanes have now reopened and queuing traffic has eased.
