THE A167 between Darlington and Northallerton reopened following a road accident on Wednesday.
A collision near Great Smeaton in North Yorkshire resulted in one of the main roads between the two towns being closed to traffic while emergency crews attended the scene.
The accident involved a lorry which left the road on the B1264 near Hornby, Northallerton at about 10.40am on Wednesday morning. It is not believed any other vehicles were involved.
The driver was treated for injuries, which were not believed to be life-threatening.
