LUXURY designer retailer Psyche is investing more than £300,000 to expand its Middlesbrough premises to facilitate growing sales, particularly online.
The extension will provide a buyers’ office, offices for support staff, a boardroom and enhanced facilities for the growing staff team.
Psyche has already appointed six new members of staff and plans more recruitment in the near future.
Steve Cochrane, owner of the retailer, said: “Business is going from strength to strength and our online sales are increasing all the time, with customers from across the world.
“We have invested significantly in our online presence and e-commerce and will continue to do so but the increasing staff numbers have meant we need to expand our premises to support the sales function.
“The retail world is changing and Psyche is moving with the times with some exciting technology firsts we are working on to ensure that the business stays ahead of the competition.”
