THE public are getting a chance to have their say on changing the law to give victims of revenge porn better legal protection.
North Yorkshire’s police and crime commissioner, Julia Mulligan, launched the No More Naming campaign last November along with revenge porn victim Keeley Richards-Shaw.
It is an offence to share a private sexual photograph or film without the subject’s permission if the aim is to cause them distress – but the victim has no anonymity.
Now Mrs Mulligan wants to hear the public’s views and has produced a short survey which is open to everyone. To take the survey visit http://survey.sogosurvey.com/k/SsRTPSVsTUsPsPsP
