"It wasn't that far over" - Suspected drink-driver's response to police charge
POLICE were left dumbfounded by the response of a suspected drink driver.
The motorist had initially failed to answer his bail and turned up on Friday at a police station in North Yorkshire Police.
On a police document outlining the charge the driver was given the opportunity to reply.

North Yorkshire Police recorded his response as: "It wasn't that far over really was it".
On Twitter on Friday night, North Yorkshire Police traffic officer Andrew Ingram wrote: "The drink driver who failed to answer bail yesterday turned up today and this was his reply to charge #incredible"
